And, too, an essay for CONNECT, the October exhibtion.

An essay about CONNECT:
“In today’s world it’s easy to lose touch with our senses and our link to nature. However, amidst all this hyper-connectivity and streaming entertainment there seems to be an even heightened awareness of the need to create more personally meaningful and cultural connections. It’s true that people have always been seeking, but it’s more difficult to fully connect from behind the latest devices which don’t require us to tap into our senses. And. so, people are becoming more in tune with their senses. Artists re-connect what is seen out in nature, and photographers are hiking to see the conditions of a habitat naturally. “Art connects us to what we care about most.” –D. Fairweather.
