“Great news!  Quiet Anticipation, the pastel painting I did at Fairweather House & Gallery as a demo during the February Seaside Art Walk, received the First Place Award at the 49th Annual Lake Area Artists Show & Sale this past weekend in Lake Oswego, Oregon.–Gretha Lindwood.

Painted LIVE during Seaside First Saturday Art Walk at Fairweather’s. Indeed, what was started a blank canvas at the beginning of the art event, was completed and framed as a quick finish at the end of the Quiet Anticipation Art Walk. Marvelous opportunity to watch a master create. Fun fact: patrons and the artist titled the painting during the event.
