A: It is the design and execution of lettering with a broad tip instrument pen, ink brush, or other writing instruments. Calligraphy pens are a special class of fountain pen. The broader, flat edge t creates marks varying in thickness. Calligraphy pens are primarily used for stylized penmanship.
