“Places I Remember” by Melisaa Jander oil painting
“This still-life painting features a bouquet of vibrant red tulips in a silver pitcher resting on a green patterned cloth. The vibrant petals stand out against a peek of the landscape outside, their rich red color contrasting with the viridian greens in the cloth. The brushstrokes are loose and expressive, adding a sense of movement to the scene.” Melissa Jander, artist
“Misty Beach Morning” by Melissa Jander
En Plein Aire oil, 8 x 10
“This oil painting captures the beauty and energy of the sun-filled beach at Seaside with the distant bluff veiled in the morning mist. Ocean waves crash onto the shore, and beach-goers have set up their blankets and umbrellas in the distance. The brushstrokes are bold, with blues, greens, and yellows dominating the canvas.” MJ
