For Good Stuff, Fairweather’s June show, Melissa Jander.

“Places I Remember” by Melisaa Jander oil painting

This still-life painting features a bouquet of vibrant red tulips in a silver pitcher resting on a green patterned cloth. The vibrant petals stand out against a peek of the landscape outside, their rich red color contrasting with the viridian greens in the cloth. The brushstrokes are loose and expressive, adding a sense of movement to the scene.” Melissa Jander, artist

“Misty Beach Morning” by Melissa Jander

En Plein Aire oil, 8 x 10

“This oil painting captures the beauty and energy of the sun-filled beach at Seaside with the distant bluff veiled in the morning mist. Ocean waves crash onto the shore, and beach-goers have set up their blankets and umbrellas in the distance. The brushstrokes are bold, with blues, greens, and yellows dominating the canvas.” MJ

Another amazing springtime has finally arrived here in the PNW. Here’s a sneak preview of what’s headed to Fairweather House and Gallery in Seaside, Oregon, for Seaside First Saturday Art Walk. The June show is called “Good Stuff,” with an opening exhibition on June 3rd, 5-7 pm.

I will offer an artist talk about the new work on display and other featured resident artists, such as Paul Brent, who is hosting the after-hours event.

This beautiful and artistic gallery is a must-see if you are headed to the Oregon Coast at any time of year, and my paintings will be showcased throughout June.

Hope to see you there
