Since 2008 Paul Brent has offered Painting Seaside LIVE ™ episodes at the Fairweather Gallery in Seaside.
Q: What is Painting Seaside LIVE?
A: Painting Seaside LIVE ™ is a form of painting, a visual performance art, in which artists complete an art piece in a public performance, often at an opening reception, or public event, accompanied by live music. The artwork which is created LIVE may be planned or improvisational. This live art form is often contrasted with more studied fine art compositions from the same artists, which are generally executed in an artist studio or other private space.
Artists at the Fairweather Gallery in a number of genres have performed live painting, including, among others, Paul Brent, Bev Drew Kindley, Kimberly Reed, Marga Stanley, Carol Thompson, Micheal Muldoon, Rodney Glen Martinez and Victoria Brooks.

Paul and Lana Jane Brent have returned for the winter to their gallery in Panama City, Florida. And, too, we are looking forward to their return to Seaside in June 2016!
