BE STILL. Opening reception. Dec. 5th. Seaside First Saturday Art Walk at Fairweather’s.

Many patrons came to the opening reception for “Be Still” an exhibition  at Fairweather’s featuring musician and Seaside Chamber Ambassador and local pastor Shirley Smith-Yates, who  thrilled art patrons with a playing style perfectly matched to the holiday season.

Kay Kjemhus is an avid gardener, Vice President of the Seaside garden club, member of a gym circuit and a church member in Seaside. She is presently beginning a book of innocent love, mystery and intrigue.

Kathy Ferris, a retired educator, and a librarian will share a story about her recent Australia outback travel adventure.

Sharing the Cottage Living national magazine article featuring Joan Smith.   She is another retired principal and a consulting gallery stylist, whose husband, Ron Smith will be serving as Fairweather’s 2016 Art Walk wine steward.

Kathy Bowman, Director of Art Walk Hospitality, spoke about her platform to share about doing good works for local children and in Africa.

As always at Fairweather’s on an Art Walk evening Seaside/Gearhart nature photographer Neal Maine spoke at 6 p.m. about what is happening in local wildlife habitats; habitats found “in our own backyards along the coastal edge.”
