Artist Zifen Qian for the STROKES OF GENUIS exhibition through May 25th.

Zifen Qian is an artist who blends Eastern and Western cultures in his paintings. Qian founded the concept of Global Culture with a variety of post-modern creations. He earned a Master of Fine Arts degree from Shanghai Normal University School of Fine Art and Portland State University School of Fine and Performing Arts. Qian has taught at different art institutions and holds positions as an Art Research Specialist in Shanghai and Vice President of America Arts Research Institute in the United States. Qian’s artistic journey has been featured in several US and Chinese media outlets such as “The Oregonian,” “The Washington Post,” and “People’s Daily.” His profile has been included in “the Dictionary of Achievements of the World Chinese Artists,” in “Who’s Who in America,” and in “Who’s Who in the World.”

 Zifen Qian has served as an Adjunct Professor of Art at the Pacific Northwest College of Art and Portland State University and as a Visiting Professor of Art at the Art & Design College of Shanghai Institute of Technology. His original paintings have been exhibited in the world’s major cities and at important exhibitions and museums. His published works have been distributed worldwide.
