Fairweather House and Gallery is setting the scene on March 1st to open the first Seaside First Saturday Art Walks for the year.
 

Celebrating 21 years, Seaside First Saturday Art Walk is a free event in the Historic Gilbert District between Holladay and Broadway in downtown Seaside. Courtesy parking is available at Holladay and Oceanway. Meet artists, see art, and hear live music.

The opening reception for Setting the Scene is an exhibition that will focus on original artworks by Pacific Northwest artists and unique pieces Made by NW Hands (TM).
 
  • For the upcoming spring season, works by textile artist Cicely Gilman,  gemstone art by Charisse Mai, pastels by Greta Lindwood,  oil paintings by Melissa Jander, and en plein air works by Bev Drew Kindley.
  • Introducing clay art by Dan Peccia and handmade glass by Bob Heath and Christine Downs. 
  • Lecture about the mindset of choosing green in the art of display by gallerist/ owner D. Fairweather, member A.S.I.D., Allied Member American Society of Interior Designers.
  • LIVE music by Seaside acoustic and guitar musician Jason Lambert between 5–6 pm.
